Qualifications

Whether it’s a question of how long you need to study to get the kind of job or career you want or for how long you are prepared to study to get a job or career that is acceptable you need to understand progression routes.

Look at the job description you were given and those given to the others in your group and together work out what qualification route, or routes, would lead to those jobs.

Is there only one route to each job?

Are some routes shorter or longer, do they offer different advantages?

What else do you need to know about these routes and different types of qualifications to be able to make choices?
