Community Delivery

ANWC Community delivery sites across the North West

ANWC work in many community sites across the North West. We recognise the difference between large urban areas compared with the more rural areas of the region, and we adapt our delivery accordingly. We tailor our work to the needs of the individual to ensure that their learning and employment goals are realistic and achievable, considering local labour gaps and areas of growth. Many of our experienced Case Managers have a background in Offender Management meaning our services take into account the needs of men and women who have criminal convictions.

Case Managers work with participants to identify needs and aspirations and agree individually tailored Action Plans that focus on the goal of employment. Participants work to complete a range of activities including improving confidence, obtaining ID, obtaining disclosure advice and applying for work. Specialist referrals are made to organisations that provide support with issues such as accommodation, substance misuse and debt. Case Managers deliver a range of accredited Open Awards and provide access to other accredited training and employment opportunities. We closely liaise with colleagues from National Probation Service and Community Rehabilitation companies to ensure that our delivery is in line with an individual's sentence/licence condition or restrictions.
